Approximate idle power consumption of the JuiceBox is about 2.4W/h, equal to about 2 kilowatt hours per month.  If you pay .15 per kWhr, it would cost an additional .30 to keep your JuiceBox plugged in and transmitting.

This definition considers the idle state as being when the unit is not outputting power charging a vehicle, but is powered on.
